Photography has rules just like everything else in life. It is important that a photographer follows these rules in order to develop the best photos.
Motion: This photo shows a school bus in motion driving down the street.
Depth of Field: This photo of the school bus was taken on an angle, to give depth to the picture. At the end of the photo it has a Stop sign.
Background/Foreground: In this photo it focuses on the flowers, but in the background you can see the focal point, which is the red brick building.
Unbalanced: This photo could be considered unbalanced due to the wooden pole directly next to the clock. It distracts the clock from being the main focus.
Balanced: This photo is balanced because there isn't any unncessary negative space. The bus, stop sign, and light post are aligned.
Cropping: This is a picture of a brick pathway that was cropped to focus on the inscription on the brick.
Framing: The lion is the framed byee the background and is the main focus of the photo.
